TRYING OUT THIS SYSTEM

We are from a technical college in the state of Wisconsin, USA -- the e-mails we receive from this organization are coming to us in French? Can this be changed? We are having difficulty trying to set up an account as a tutor and as a tutee as they would both have the same e-mail address. Is there any way around that?
